Renal replacement therapy
Acid/base fluids and electrolytes

 

Objectives: 

Assessment, causes, risk, management, nephrotoxic drugs. 
 Indications, principles, anticoagulation, prescription, recovery.
Disorders of acid/base balance - diagnosis and management, potassium and sodium homeostasis, DKA, phosphate and magnesium, thyroid and adrenal problems
