The inaugural PROMPT Symposium, supported by Limbs and Things Ltd, will focus on improving intrapartum safety globally, particularly through multi-professional training.

The two day Symposium will take place in the beautiful and historic city of Bath and will feature speakers from around the globe as well as the opportunity to participate in hands-on workshops.

The Symposium has been designed to appeal to midwives, obstetricians, anaesthetists and those who are interested in safety and quality improvements in maternity care.

Keynote speakers include:

 

  • Cathy Warwick CBE - General Secretary of the Royal College of Midwives
  • Professor Charles Vincent - Professor of Psychology and Chair of Patient Safety, Oxford,
  • Professor Tim Draycott - Consultant Obstetrician and Health Foundation Improvement Science Fellow
  • Robin Wootten - Cheif Learning Officer, Limbs and Things Ltd
  • Dr Carl Mccrae - Social Psychologist and Health Foundation Improvement Science Fellow
  • Dr Carolyn Tarrant - Senior Lecturer in the SAPPHIRE Group, University of Leicester
All delegates are invited to a free drinks reception on the evening of 5th March at the Victoria Art Gallery.  This will be followed by the Symposium Dinner, priced at £50 per head, which will be held on the terrace overlooking the world famous Roman Baths.
'Early Bird' reduced rates are available for those booking tickets to attend the Symposium by 31st December 2014 and multi-professional teams of 4 are entitled to a group discount.
