The Novice PLUS Anaesthetic / ACCS course
- is being held in the L&R building SimSpace at Southmead North Bristol on Tuesday 18th July. It is a 1 day follow up course designed for ACCS and Core anaesthetic trainees 1 year on from attending the Novice Anaesthetic course undertaken leading up to the Initial Assessment of Competence sign off.
- Designed to prepare core doctors in training about to start CT 2 or 3 year who may have had a period of time out of anaesthesia for many reasons, including rotating through ICU, ED and Acute Medicine, sick leave or maternity leave etc. Or for any core trainee who’d like a refresher to anaesthetics prior to their August rotation start.
- It is intended as a relaxed trainee focused refresher training day plus adds a few additional areas that previous trainees have fed back, such as: paediatrics, hot topics and tips on managing solo list and emergency lists efficiently.
