This course will be a morning of lectures and afternoon of SIM at Redwood Education centre in Gloucester.
This course is for ACCS doctors completed their Anaesthetics block in January'23 and all CORE Anaesthetics doctors.
Venue: Redwood Education Centre, Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. This is aimed at Severn ACCS and core trainees completing their first anaesthetics placement in February 2022.
It is a 1 day course held on Tuesday 17th January 2023 from 9am - 4pm.
The aim is to increase your familiarity with sedation and to contribute towards the sedation HALO now required for stage 1 of the curriculum alongside EPA 1 and 2.
The day will be informal, involving a morning of talks delivered by consultants and registrars from across the Schools. This will cover sedative drugs, and sedation both in threatre and ED. The afternoon will involve simulation and discussion around clinical scenarios.
