Acting-up as a Consultant - Guidelines
These are the guidelines for trainees to follow when applying to Act-up as a Consultant -
- Training Programme Director (Specialty) needs to check that all competencies are up-to-date and acting-up post is suitable for addition of training.
- Trainee seeks Training Programme Director approval in principle prior to 'acting up' appointment.
- TPD signs and sends PGME OOPT form to PGME.
- TPD notifies College and Regional Adviser of trainee name, hospital and dates.
