Anaesthesia for Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery (3-12 months)
The SIA in HPB surgery we offer is between 3-12 months. At UHBW there are 5-7 HPB lists a week for trainees to attend but also there is a weekly HPB pre-operative planning meeting and regular HPB emergency cases to get involved with. By the end of the SIA we would envisage the trainee doing these cases independently.
