Anaesthesia for Thoracic Surgery (6-12 months)
We offer a 6–12-month SIA in the largest thoracic centre in the South West. There will be exposure to complex thoracic procedures including both video assisted and robotic cases, we also offer exposure to complex interventional bronchoscopy work. We have a high turnover of both elective and emergency work and by the end of the SIA the resident will be able to manage these cases independently. There will be many opportunities to get involved with research and QI and the resident will also attend high risk planning meetings.
